Metaphysical Beliefs – Ametrine is believed to connect both the spiritual and physical realms. It is valued for its ability to bring opposites together, such as masculine and feminine subjects. Ametrine is believed to help bring relief to those with chronic illness and disease.

Gemology – Ametrine (SiO2) is a blend of purple Amethyst and orange/yellow Citrine that occurs both naturally and in synthetic forms. It has a hexagonal crystal structure and is a 7 on the Mohs Scale of Hardness. To find Ametrine unheated is a rare occurrence in nature and is sought after by collectors.
